How To Find Missing Samples In MainStage
Marvin writes me this week:
One of the patches won't play it opens a window trying to find its contents. How do I find it?
Hi Marvin! I use a few samples from MainStage’s Sound Library in the Worship Collection and other packs that aren’t by default downloaded. Here’s how to download them:
Open MainStage and go to MainStage 3>sound library> open sound library.
2. To guarantee you have all the sounds you need, I recommend installing all of the sound libraries with the exception of the Apple Loops.
3. If you don’t have room on your internal hard drive, the easiest option is to put your sound library on an external hard drive. Go to MainStage>Sound Library>Relocate Sound Library to move your files.
4. If that isn’t an option, try installing sound banks one at a time to see if the error message goes away. Good luck!
