The NE6 Cover Band Collection features 259 song-inspired patches, making it easier on keyboard players to instantly have the sounds built for covering songs at their fingertips. No programming needed.
The NE6 Cover Band Collection covers everything from top modern hits to classic jazz standards. While you may need to add an extra keyboard to cover every sound in every song (The Nord Electro 6 only has one synth available per program, after all), this the most complete collection of song-inspired patches ever commercially available for The Nord Electro 6 series keyboards.

One-patch-per-song speed.
There’s nothing worse than trying to find the right sound when a band leader makes an audible onstage. That’s why I put a lot of effort into getting each song to be just one patch, meaning you’re not bogged down with a massive library of songs. Then you can use the Nord’s alphabetical search feature to find the song you need quickly.
7 New Features In Version 3.0:
The NE6 Cover Band Collection was originally released in 2021, and the latest version has been completely rebuilt with today’s gigging keyboardist in mind. Here’s what’s new:
• All new programs. We went through all 259 patches and completely redid the sounds, making sure everything locked in perfectly for live musicians.
• Updated samples. We used Nord’s latest factory content to update the sounds of the Cover Band Collection, adding the highest quality samples from Nord into the programs.
• New categorized programs. We broke the NE6 Cover Band Collection into two handy program groups: simple and complex. The complex programs are difficult to replicate songs, and the simple are more straightforward mappings with one or two primary elements. If you’re in a pinch and need more program space on your Nord Electro 6, it’s possible to just drag in the complex sounds and use a few general presets for the “simple” sounds.
• More sample variety. You’ll notice when scrolling through the samples that The NE6 Cover Band Collection will feel more expansive. It’s not your imagination- we use 3x the variety of samples in this version than in the previous one.
• More dedicated custom samples. We’ve added a lot of new samples, perfect for covering ground that The Nord Sample Library can’t cover.
• Sound Lists. We now have a full list of all samples used with all programs, for easily locating files during installation.
• Better naming. We’ve updated the naming on all sample and program files, making it easy to see what is factory content and what is specific to the Cover Band Collection.
• Easier installation. We’ve completely re-written the manual and method on installation, making it simpler for non-techy musicians to get up and running.
